Just another lousy post..
Posted On Sunday, June 7, 2009 at at 6:55 PM by nanaykrungSo, here I am again apologizing to no one really because I haven't posted anything about myself in a while. Not that anybody really cares. But since the blog title says "State of the Moment", I might as well state the state of the moment. Haha.
I've been meaning to write, really. But everytime I get on the net, I just get distracted all of a sudden. I think it's no secret that I'm a Twitter addict so most of my random thoughts are streamed there (Follow me!). And I guess it helps 'cause it appeals to my ADHD tendencies, LOL. So anyways, besides Twitter, I also love reading Perez Hilton's blog, EOnline.com, popseoul.com, asianfanatics.net and letterstotwilight.com. Seems obvious that I keep myself up-to-date with showbiz news, right? But, to my defense, I also regulary read the CNN and Inquirer websites as well, just to p'rolly keep the balance of the reel and real words in check.
But, besides all these distractions, I've been away mainly 'cause I already got a job! It's an 8 to 5 thing and I'm not quite sure yet if I like this skedge but I'm TRYING to like it, LOL. Seems pretty easy, the whole concept of having a job, but it really isn't. The worst challenge for me is having to wake up at around 6 or 6:30 AM everyday. Everone who knows me personally can say that I'm such a nocturnal freak. And it's quite exhausting too!! For real. 9 hours straight in the office with only an hour to spare, darn. Everytime I get home at around 6 PM, I'm like, "Hey, can I go straight to bed?? My eyes are killing me!! LOL." And to top it all off, I only get Sundays free! Yep, I have a 6-day work week!!
But, compared to my state about 6 months ago, I'm truly happy that I'm actually in a better state now. There's been a huge improvement in myself, I've observed. Of course, I still got lots of meds to take and perhaps more effort to devote on my recovery but everything's cool. I haven't felt better in years!! Yeyy me!!
From now on, I'll TRY to write more often. Bye for now! Cheers!!
My yummy Roger Federer! :pQuality Wireless Routers at ShopWiki.com
Posted On Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at at 9:00 PM by nanaykrungWireless Networks and Wireless Routers
Nowadays, a much preferred way of maintaining that connectivity is through wireless networks. As the name suggests, this type of network eliminates the need for the cumbersome installation of bulky wires and other physical equipment. However, for a device to share wireless connectivity, the network it is part of must be hooked up with a wireless router. After a wireless router is set-up, then your laptop, cellular phone, iPhone or Blackberry can automatically be connected to the network, provided they have the capability and the necessary hardware such as wireless network adapters.
Wireless networks are usually set-up in homes and home offices to integrate PCs and laptops. But, a ShopWiki article on Wireless Routers and Access Points also tells us that these networks are also helpful when it comes to gaming. You would just need a digital media adapter (also available via ShopWiki) installed on your TV or stereo.
Wireless Network Standards
If you have security concerns regarding wireless networks (as they have been reported to be also susceptible to viruses), then that would not be a problem. Aside from the basic security that is provided by virus scanners and Internet firewalls, many wireless router models also take security into consideration. The Netgear WGT624SC Super G Wireless Router provides WEP protection, MAC address control, automatic scanning of connected PCs and detailed security reports. The TrustEli Security Appliance has anti-spam features for each computer connected to the network, anti-adware and malware software included, content filtering options, and a hardware firewall system.

Bella's Lullaby by Carter Burwell (Piano Cover)
Posted On at at 1:02 AM by nanaykrungBy the way, I'm sorry about the audio. If you listen to it carefully, you can hear birds chirping, dogs howling and other such disturbances. What can I say? I have noisy neighbors and my camera's no good as well. Plus, I'm only using a synthesizer, not a real piano.
Anyhoo, for those of you who want to learn this, the music sheets are available here:
